Paperless Property Tax Billing Now Available

The first property tax bills of 2023 were mailed today with a due date of July 3rd, 2023.

We are pleased to announce that paperless property tax billing is now available to Sunapee property owners.  The legal owner of the property can opt into this new feature by paying their property tax bill online on the Sunapee Tax Kiosk (https://nhtaxkiosk.com/?KIOSKID=SUNAPEE), where they will be prompted if they want to sign up for this feature.  The attached billing request and agreement form will then be emailed to the legal owner for them to complete and return to the tax collector’s office via email, mail, or hand delivery.  It is important that we get this agreement returned to us as soon as possible to ensure that you receive your tax bills electronically for the second property tax billing in the fall.

Please note, it is NOT necessary to enroll in Paperless Billing to make online payments through the Sunapee Tax Kiosk.  You may bypass the prompt which offers this feature to you by simply clicking next without entering your email address.

The legal owner of the property may also fill out and sign the attached agreement and email, mail, or hand deliver it to the tax collector’s office, without paying their property tax bill online to opt into paperless billing.

Another new feature we are excited to offer is the ability for you to view and print a copy of your tax bill from the Sunapee Tax Kiosk.  This is useful if someone misplaces their bill or during IRS tax filing.

We hope these new features help Sunapee property owners streamline paying their property taxes.  We also recognize that many people are environmentally conscious and paperless billing will reduce the amount of paper and envelopes used, as well as the cost of the paper, envelopes, and postage.  Thank you to all Sunapee property owners for being so great to work for.

Kindly,

Joshua Boone

Town Clerk & Tax Collector.
