"Walk in the Woods"

@ Dexter’s Inn  

285 Stagecoach Rd, Sunapee,NH (meet in parking lot across from the Inn)

October 3rd , 2021, @ 1pm rain or shine

The hike is a little over an hour, along hiking trails and a hill back up to the Inn. Members of the Commission will act as guides for the hike, which will include a section of the SRK trail. We will provide maps of the route, and suggest that hikers download a compass app and the no cost version of Gaia GPS, to enhance the experience.

Instructions will be provided for both. We will hike down to a beaver pond and pass by a bear den (not currently in use!) as we walk through a beautiful, mostly hardwood forest. 

At the conclusion of the hike, there will be cider, hot

chocolate, and a fire pit, compliments of Dexter’s Inn. Our expectation is that the foliage will be colorful,

with a spectacular view of Mt. Sunapee. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and outerwear appropriate for the weather.
