Location of Department & Sunapee Facts

The Police Department is conveniently located at 9 Sargent Road (just off of Route 11) in the Safety Services Building.*

The Town of Sunapee is located approximately forty-five minutes north of New Hampshire's capitol, Concord, off of Interstate 89 North in Sullivan County. It is bordered by the Towns of Newbury, Newport, New London, Goshen, Croydon and Springfield. This scenic, waterfront resort community is home to approximately 3,150 full-time residents with its population increasing to almost 7,000 during the summer months. The town consists of about 26 square miles, approximately 6 of which is water, and has approximately 60 miles of roadway. It is the home of Lake Sunapee, Mountain View Lake, Ledge Pond, Otter Pond, Perkins Pond and the Sugar River.
