Washed Out Roads

Rain, Rain, and More Rain

Current rainfall is causing roads to wash out and basements to fill up with water. Please be patient as Sunapee Fire, Sunapee Police, and Sunapee Highway work to clear culverts, close roads, and redirect water. 

Areas of Prospect Hill have large amounts of debris –please avoid the area.

Two sections of Granite Ridge have washed out entirely. Please take caution and avoid the area.

Forecasts predict rain to continue throughout the evening. Sunapee Fire, Sunapee Police, and Sunapee Highway will be working throughout the night to secure roads and divert as much water as possible.

Please be patient as everyone works to do the best that they can to secure our roads and take care of our community.
