DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, USE OF THIS FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK

We are trying diligently to accommodate people who need to use restroom facilities with ability to "regularly clean", we adapted the guidelines from the Governor Sununu via the reopening task force, to the restaurants who want to allow their patron's from outside tables to use their restrooms. We didn't make it up. So our facility must be under our control, we have hired an outside company to clean in the harbor in addition to our regular staff during the week. We also followed some of the recreation area's in the state's guidelines, we have placed porta potties in Georges Mills and Dewey Beach. The liability for "under their control" is the company that provides the unit...different from our brick and mortar facilities. We felt temporarily, having them available without lock was better than limited hours in the facility. This is a temporary measure to allow some restroom facilities to be there and we fully expect to revisit as more guidelines come out. We have contracted for an additional cleaning but we caution everyone, the germs are only as good as the last person to open and close the door. So unless we post a person to clean in between each and every user, it is "at your own risk". Please be patient, we have never had to make Covid-19 adjustments and we are reviewing new guidelines as they come out.
