Update on The Town’s 6-Ton Weight Limit Posted Roads

The Highway Director and Highway Forman inspected the condition of the Town’s paved roads over the past few days.  All paved roads will remain posted with the 6-ton weight limit over this weekend.  We will reinspect the roads on Monday to see if we are able to remove the posting signs next week.  All gravel roads will remain posted for approximately one additional week beyond the date that we remove the paved road postings.  A permit to travel over a specific paved road(s) may be issued at the Highway Director’s discretion.  Permit applications can be found on the Town’s website at: www.town.sunapee.nh.us under the Highway Department’s webpage.
