UPCOMING PAVING & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS

Paving of the following roads in Georges Mills will begin on Wednesday, September 7th and will be completed on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 (weather permitting):

Main Street (excluding the bridge that is adjacent to Springfield Road)
Pleasant Street
Holmes Lane
Stoney Brook Road
Oakridge Road (apron only)
Cooper Street

Additionally, the Town (with support from the NHDOT, the LSPA and a private property owner) will be replacing a failing catch basin at the Georges Mill Post Office that the Town’s & NHDOT’s drainage pipes connect to beginning on Tuesday, September 6th and ending on Thursday, September 8th, 2022.  The intent of this project is to help prevent future sediment transport and deposition from stormwater that flows from the basin, through the NHDOT’s culvert pipe, and that discharges into Otter Pond.  Access to the Georges Mills Post Office during this project will be from Route 11.
