The Town of Sunapee Announces New Highway Director
The Town of Sunapee is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Martell to Highway Director.
Michael Martell has worked for the Town of Sunapee for just over four years and has been an invaluable member of our team during that time. He has served as the Highway Foreman under long-time Highway Director Scott Hazelton. Hazelton has transitioned to the Town of Sunapee’s Planning and Zoning office to help the team usher in a new code compliance program and a short-term rental registration process.
Under Hazelton’s leadership, Martell has come to learn the inter workings of the department and is well-placed to continue building upon Hazelton’s successes.
Martell has a demonstrated track record as a successful leader, and his commitment to the Town and passion for his work will serve the department. He was instrumental in introducing Magic-0, an environmentally friendly liquid deicer.
We are confident that he will continue this record of innovation in his new position overseeing the department.
