Poised for growth, the Town of Sunapee is looking for a high-capacity leader excited to take our General Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Department into a new chapter. This exciting new position with the Town of Sunapee is responsible for supervising and participating in tasks related to maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, sports fields, and parks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills and is able to prepare and manage a major department budget, capital improvement, and equipment replacement plans. Focused on process improvement, project management, asset and facility life cycles, green energy, the General Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Director is a key member in the decision-making of how the department makes short and long-term decisions.

The General Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Director is comfortable overseeing multiple projects at one time, balancing those projects by working alongside and mentoring team members, to ensure they are being safe, working to their full potential, and advancing the goals of being well-prepared and accountable.
