Storm Event: Roads, Runoff, and more Rain

The rain has kept Sunapee Fire, Sunapee Highway, Sunapee Police, and Sunapee Water and Sewer busy today. Basements continue to flood, and roads continue to erode as more and more water comes.

Please use extreme caution as you travel home. Several roads have experienced more damage as the day has gone one.

Please note BRADFORD ROAD is closed.

Hell’s Corner Road has significant shoulder and road erosion as does Trask Brook Road and Jobs Creek Road.

Should you need immediate assistance with flooding please call 9-1-1. All other emergencies, please call 9-1-1.

Please report any road damage to jenn@town.sunapee.nh.us. The Sunapee Highway team will assess and triage as time and weather permit.

Sunapee Fire, Sunapee Highway, Sunapee Police, and Sunapee Water and Sewer will continue to work throughout the evening.
