Turkey Trot Road Closures & Detours
This is a reminder that the Sunapee Recreation Department will be hosting its annual Turkey Trot 5k road race in the Sunapee Harbor on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
The race course begins on River Road and follows the Sunapee Harbor Loop. Normal traffic patterns will be impacted from 8am until approximately 10:30am.
Please note the following road detours: Main Street, Maple Street, High Street, River Road, Lake Avenue, Burkehaven Hill Road, and Garnet Street.
Detour signs will help to redirect the flow of traffic. Please be aware of detours during the race and of pedestrians, runners, and those walking in the roadway during this time of the morning on Thanksgiving day.
