Penstock Inspection
On October 3rd, 2022, a team from Gomez and Sullivan Engineers, DPC will be inspecting the Sunapee Hydroelectric Dam.
In order to conduct the investigation, we have dewatered the penstocks. This means that the waterway feeding the hydroelectric dam is drained. We expect that exposed, decaying vegetation will produce an odor. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this process unfolds.
We expect the actual inspection to last one day.
