Penstock Inspection
On October 3rd, 2022, a team from Gomez and Sullivan Engineers, DPC will be inspecting the Sunapee Hydroelectric Dam.
In order to conduct the investigation, we must dewater the penstocks. This means that the waterway feeding the hydroelectric dam will be drained. We expect that exposed, decaying vegetation will produce an odor. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this process unfolds.
We expect the actual inspection to last one day.
