Paving Projects Update - August 11th
Sunapee Residents! We have been provided updates to the following schedule for grading, milling, and paving projects across town. Please be aware that crews will be working throughout the day and plan accordingly in the event of traffic congestion. Dates are subject to change based on weather, and we will provide updates accordingly.
COMPLETE: Mill Highway Garage
COMPLETE: Reclaim and grade Ryder Corner Rd. (section from Piney Point to Melody Ln)
August 14th: Pave base of Ryder Corner Rd. School St. and overlay Winn Hill Rd.
** EXPECT TRAFFIC TO BE AFFECTED FROM 6am to 5pm **
- 6:00 am- hone and re-shape Ryder; 7:00 am- drop mix; 7:45 am- paving
August 15th: Overlay North Rd. and TOP of Ryder Corner Rd.
August 16th: Overlay School St. and remaining Ryder Corner Rd./North Rd.
August 17th & 18th: Overlay Town Garage
Dewey Beach Rd. will be graded and paved this fall, with dates to be determined after Labor Day.
All paving work will begin around 6:30am to minimize traffic disruption during the lighter morning hours. Please follow the posted signs and be patient while passing through the area. Your cooperation and caution are greatly appreciated, as the safety of the workers and road users is our top priority.
