NOTICE: Active Forest Management Project

The Dewey Meadow enhancement and restoration project will be starting on Monday, January 22nd. The Dewey Meadow is a town-owned conservation property across from Mount Royal Academy on Seven Hearths Lane. This project will restore the Dewey Meadow so it can continue to be maintained annually as an open meadow for wildlife and the public to enjoy. This project will also enhance views of Mount Sunapee from the upper fields and trail.

During the next three weeks, the Dewey Meadow property will be closed to the public from 6:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday – Friday until the project is completed sometime in early February.
