Preparation for Upcoming Weather Event

WINTER STORM UPDATE: FULL FLEET RESTORED AND PREPARED TO RESPOND
Good Afternoon Sunapee Residents:
The full fleet of plow trucks and other support vehicles have been restored and are prepared to respond to the upcoming weather event.
A severe storm is forecast to impact the Lake Sunapee region late Friday evening and will continue through Saturday evening. We ask that you please be prepared for slippery road conditions, unexpected road closures, and scattered power outages.The combination of heavy wet snow and gusty winds may lead to snapped branches.
The Highway Crew is prepared to respond to issues that may occur on the Town's roadways as necessary. The Sunapee Police and Fire Departments are on stand-by and ready to assist. If you need assistance during the storm, please contact Sunapee Police Dept at 603-763-5555, or if you have an emergency, please call 911.
