Blood Drive at Lake Sunapee Methodist Church (8.30.23)

The American Red Cross will be visiting Lake Sunapee United Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 30th from noon - 4:30pm and invite you to schedule a  blood donation appointment by clicking here.

Attendees can either donate a pint of “whole blood,” or may be eligible to make a “Power Red” donation, which allows you to safely donate two units of red blood cells during one donation while returning your plasma and platelets to you (per the Red Cross website).

The blood collected is used to respond to patient emergencies, including accident and burn victims, newborns and emergency transfusions during birth, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer, or sickle cell disease, and more. All blood types are needed!
