27 Prospect Hill Structure Fire UPDATE

As of 12:24PM on January 19th, the structure fire at 27 Prospect Hill has been fully extinguished and the road has been partially reopened. Remaining fire crews and emergency personnel are assisting with cleanup and recovery efforts, joined by members of Town personnel and several community volunteers. Efforts are now underway to coordinate support for those affected by the fire, and  information about how community members can contribute will be released as details become available.

We are incredibly grateful for all emergency response teams who have been on the scene since the fire began last evening and worked tirelessly through the night and morning to ensure complete containment and hazard mitigation. At this time, the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire Marshal's office and remains undetermined. However, we can confirm that there were no injuries or deaths among residents in the complex.

If you are traveling in the Prospect Hill neighborhood, please be aware that traffic patterns may still be impacted. It is advised to use detours until emergency personnel are no longer on site and roads have fully reopened.
