2021 Deliberative Session & Town Meeting Vote

The Sunapee Board of Selectmen will hold an in-person Deliberative Session on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Sunapee Middle High School Gymnasium at 10 North Road in Sunapee beginning at 7pm. The gym will be organized to allow for 75+ people to be seated safely socially distanced in the gym, and we will use classrooms as needed for overflow or for anyone who would prefer to be in a room with 10 or less people. Each classroom will be equipped with a live stream of the session, and any people attending in the gym or classrooms will have the ability to vote and speak to any warrant articles presented that evening. For anyone who would like to watch from home a link will be provided, but they will not be able to participate in the meeting.

We will require that anyone in the gym wear a mask and stay socially distanced. Individual classrooms will also be socially distanced, and masks must be worn. One classroom will be set up for anyone attending who refuses to wear a mask or is unable to wear a mask due to health reasons. Any individual in a classroom will need to come to the gym to give any comments on any article. We have established a process that will be explained that evening. Anyone entering the gym will need to be masked.  

Our goal is to conduct the Town of Sunapee Deliberative Session in a way that will allow for in-person participation while keeping our community safe.
