Important Notice - Georges Mills Bridge Closure

Dear Residents,

Beginning Monday, September 11th, 2023 the Georges Mills Bridge will be closing to vehicle traffic. This strategically considered measure aims to mitigate wear and tear, safeguarding the bridge's structural integrity as we embark on a comprehensive assessment. Furthermore, we kindly request your vigilance regarding an update to the traffic pattern as well.

Specifically, please take note of the temporary change affecting the east route traffic on Main Street – the stop will no longer be in place. However, for those traveling west on Main Street from the limited accessible section, a stop sign will be present. The stop at the bottom of Prospect Hill Rd will remain unchanged.

Your understanding and cooperation are vital as we make well-informed decisions, ensuring the bridge's long-term benefit for our community.
