9 Sargent Rd., Sunapee. Built in 2006. Headquarters for Sunapee Fire & Medical, Sunapee Police and Emergency Management.

Georges Mills Station
Job's Creek Rd & Route 11, Georges Mills.
Houses- Engine 1, Model A, trailer with 1824 Handtub and Hose Reel.

We welcome visits from fellow firefighters and rescue personnel to our Safety Services Building to view and learn about our equipment and facility. Not only are we proud of the work all our emergency service organizations do for the community, we are proud of the area we live in. Sunapee is a four season active region that is the perfect spot for a vacation, a weekend away, a honeymoon or a moderate sized business convention.
Conveniently located between Interstates 89 and 91, we are just a days drive or less from the major metropolitan areas of Boston, New York City, Albany, Montreal and Portland. To get to our Safety Services Building here in Sunapee simply follow the directions below.
Just remember- we are a volunteer department and as such the stations are not manned unless there's a call or training in progress. If you want to tour the facilities call ahead to one of the numbers or email links on the home page and make arrangements to meet someone for a tour.
Directions
From the southeast (Boston) - I-93 north to Concord, NH to I-89 north. Take exit 12 onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 4 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
From the south (Nashua/Worcester, MA) - Rt. 3 north to the Everett Turnpike which runs into I-93. I-93 north to Concord, NH to I-89 north. Take exit 12 onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 4 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
From the southwest (Keene, NH) - Rt. 10 north into Newport to Rt. 11 east. At the Newport/Sunapee line 11 and 103 will split, stay to the left on Rt. 11. Follow 11 for about 3 more miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the left on Sargent Road.
From the southwest (Springfield, MA/ Brattleboro, VT/Albany, NY.) - I-91 north to VT. exit 8 (Ascutney-Windsor). Take Rt. 131 east into NH which becomes NH Route 103. Follow 103 which will join with Rt. 11 in Claremont Center. Follow 11 east through Claremont and Newport. At the Newport/Sunapee line 11 and 103 will split, stay to the left on Rt. 11. Follow 11 for about 3 more miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the left on Sargent Road.
From the west (Rutland, VT/Saratoga, NY.) - VT. Route 4 east to Rt. 131 outside of Ludlow. Take Rt. 131 east into NH which becomes NH Route 103. Follow 11 which will join with Rt. 11 in Claremont Center. Follow 11 east through Claremont and Newport. At the Newport/Sunapee line 11 and 103 will split, stay to the left on Rt. 11. Follow 11 for about 3 more miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the left on Sargent Road.
From the north (Montreal/ St. Albans, VT) - I-89 south. to NH exit 12-A. Right off the exit ramp to the blinking light. Take a right onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 3 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
From the north (Littleton, NH/St. Johnsbury, VT) - I-91 south to I-89. I-89 south. to NH exit 12-A. Right off the exit ramp to the blinking light. Take a right onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 3 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
From the east (Conway, NH/Bridgeton, ME) - NH Rt. 16 to Rt. 25 west to Rt. 3 south to Rt. 104 west. At the end of Rt. 104 take a left onto Rt. 4 south to Rt. 11 west. Right onto Rt. 11 west. 11 will join I-89 for one exit north to Rt. 12. Take exit 12 onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 4 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
From the south (Portsmouth, NH/ southern ME) - NH Rt. 4 to I-393 in Concord. Take 393 to I-93 south to I-89 north. Take exit 12 onto Rt. 11 west. Follow 11 for about 4 miles into Sunapee Village and the Safety Services Building is on the right on Sargent Road.
The Safety Services Building's Osborne Community Room is available for meetings and private use. Complete the Town Facilities Use Request Form and submit to the Town Manager.
