Independance Day Parade

The annual Independance Day Parade organized by the Sunapee Fire Department will be on Saturday July 7th.  Line up is at noon at the church on Old Georges Mills Rd. and step off is at 1 pm.   Participtation is open to marching bands, clowns, fire trucks, sports teams, school classes, old cars & trucks, bicycles, gators & tractors, antique steam rollers, neighborhood associations, businesses and families.  Just show up at the staging area at noon.  Please note- parade participants will need to sign a waiver of liability and acknowledgement of parade regulations and laws in order to be included.  NO ITEMS may be thrown, tossed or otherwise discharged from a parade vehicle or float.

The parade route will go up Cetnral St to Main St through the Harbor, around River St., down Main St, cross Rt 11 into Lower Main St and end at the Middle-High School.  Please line the route and help celebrate America and Sunapee in our 250th Sestercentennial Year!
